Simple. Powerful. Intuitive.

OS7+ Deluxe is the best, most user-friendly, theme ever designed for the Torch.

It uses the new OS7 icons but also uses custom matching OS7 inspired theme elements throughout. From the signal meters to the phone screen icons and everything in between, this is a complete theme, not just a homescreen replacement.

OS7+ Deluxe uses the familiar default torch theme layout appearance, but does away the unpopular tabbed design. Instead it uses a custom new layout freshly designed to be the most powerful and easy to use ever.

Simply scroll up from anywhere and your top Options bar instantly appears, you don't even need to click on anything. (or alternately you can simply touch anywhere in the top third of the screen to have your Options bar appear)

Included in the Options bar is:
-Profiles
-Options
-Clock/Alarm
-Manage Connections
-Universal Search

When you are done with the Options bar simply scroll downwards and it instantly dissapears. (Or if you prefer simply hit the escape button. Or simply touch anywhere in the centre area of the screen)

Across the bottom you have 2 custom docks: Main & Media

The Main dock shows your top 5 applications.

The Media dock shows your 5 main media apps, which are:
Camera
Video Camera
Music
Videos
Pictures

To switch between your 2 docks you simply touch either side where it says Media & Main. These touch areas are made nice and big and are on both sides so whether you are left or right handed they are perfectly ergonomically placed to make it nice and easy to use with your thumbs.

Also OS7+ Deluxe works perfectly in Portrait or landscape mode.

There are also 3 handy shortcuts included:
Press Spacebar to open Messages
Press 0 to open Calculator
Press $ to open Text Messages

Also if you want to hide your bottom dock simply touch the down arrow above the dock and it dissappears. To re-show it simply touch the bottom area of the screen or hit escape.

To make this theme absolutely as quick and easy to use as possible hitting Escape at any point will return you to your main screen. ie, Top bar hidden & Main bottom dock shown.

OS7+ Deluxe will be the last theme you will ever need.

For OWNED we started with the Original torch theme icons and layout and then made lots of improvements. First we added a Weather slot. Then we simplified it by making it have No tabs. We then added Extras like the ability to hide the banner background. And then made just one hidable Dock with 12 icons.

Original + Weather + No tabs + Extras + Dock = OWNED

Features:

• Weather slot near the top right
• Shaded Banner background can be hidden or shown (For some wallpapers you will want it for others you won't, this is the only theme that easily allows you to turn it on or off)

Torch 9800: Dimension Slide

Dimension Slide takes my popular custom Dimension icon set and combines it with a unique, single touch, double slide homescreen animation, to give you a one of a kind but highly usable theme like no other.

Features:

Scroll Up, or touch anywhere on the screen, and your main 16 icons will smoothly slide into view. Half will slide in from the left and half will slide in from the right
Scroll down, or touch above or below the icons, and the 16 icons will slide back out of view. Half slide away to the left and half slide away to the right.

Vivid - OS6

Vivid (hidden today) is based on my original Vivid theme. The only difference is that instead of the fixed today area on the home screen it has a hidden today area.

This is a Full theme. Absolutely everything that is possible to be themed has been themed. All icons, All images, Call screen, Text messaging chat screens, etc.

I wanted to get away from the basic mostly black and white look and feel of Blackberry OS6 and give something bright, bold and vibrant. I hope you like it is much as I do.

Here's a quick walkthrough of some of the features starting with the Homescreen:

4 custom icons across the bottom
A Hidden Today that will show up to 10 Calendar appointment and new Messages
When you scroll over the Hidden Today area you get a large shaded underlay under your whole Today area so no matter what wallpaper you are using you will never have any difficulty reading your appointments or new messages

At first glance the banner area is very minimalist, just the battery and signal meters and the time, but there is much more there than is first visible:

OS6 - Perfected (Torch & Storm)

OS6 - Perfected is what I feel the default Torch OS6 theme should have been.

Overview:
I started with the oversized banner. First I thinned it down to a more reasonable size, next I rearranged the items and added a percentage meter to the battery. Next I added 3 separate links for Options, Clock and Connnections instead of having them lumped all together like it was. I kept profiles the same, but made hitting the notification area go straight to messages rather than opening a dropdown that you need to click a second time to open your messages. I kept the usefull Universal Search icon. Note: This a true OS6 Universal Search icon, not the old legacy search icon that all other themes are using (Torch only, Storm has a user selectable icon instead).

Next I did away with the annoying tabs and replaced them with one dock showing your top 5 applications. I then added the ability to easily hide and unhide that dock to keep your homescreen uncluttered and your wallpaper visible (Simply click or touch the down arrow above the icons to hide the dock, and click or touch the up arrow at the bottom of the screen to unhide it).

Torch 9800: Wallpaper Max

Wallpaper Max is The best theme there is for being able to view your wallpaper. However it is not just about your wallpaper as you can Easily open 36! different applications right from your homescreen. Wallpaper Max also gives you a full 12 line today area!

Features:

To start off you have a completely bare homescreen, nothing but a very minimalist banner area. Great for viewing your wallpapers.
But then simply touch anywhere on the screen and you get your top 30 applications. Also your wallpaper gets greyed out so you can see your icons better.
There are 3 hidden banner area buttons:
Click the battery for Options
Click the time for Clock/Alarm
Click the signal meter for Manage Connections
Also there are 3 hotkey application links:
Press Spacebar for Messages
Press 0 for Calculator
Press $ for Text Messages
Also when you rotate your phone to the left or right you get a second today style homescreen with room for 2 new messages and 10 calendar appointments.

Torch 9800: Wallpaper popup VARIATIONS

This posting is for variations on my Wallpaper Popup theme that I have done by request. For the original theme click HERE.

My first variation was PINK <----click there to download

Changes:

Pink & purple colours used thoughout (dialogs, highlights, buttons, etc)
Tiny fonts

The second variation was ALL USER SELECTABLE <----click there to download

Changes:

All 16 icons in all 3 popups are user selectable
Landscape mode shows Messages instead of Calendar

The 3rd variation was RED <----click there to download

Changes:

All Red throughout (Buttons, Highlights, etc)
Hit any of the edges to hide the popups (or you can still hit escape as well)

The 4th variation is CUSTOM BOTTOM <----click there to download

Changes:

The bottom popup has been changed to: Text, BBM, Facebook, Twitter
All 3 popups were changed to a light black colour
Unread alerts were moved to the top

5th variation is ALL SELECTABLE LIGHT BLACK <-----click there to download

Changes:

Popup backgrounds are an almost clear black colour

Overview: Do you like viewing and showing off your wallpapers? Perhaps featuring pictures taken yourself using the Torch's camera? But want to do that while still having everything available right at your fingertips? If yes then this is the theme for you.

All that you initially see on your homescreen is a tiny banner and nothing else, nothing to get in the way of your wallpapers.

But if you touch anywhere on the top quarter of the screen a box instantly pops up showing:

Profiles (note: Profiles must be set to be the first icon in the 3rd row of your main All Applications list)
Clock
Options
Manage connections

Also if you touch anywhere in the middle half of your screen you get:

A 2 row popup featuring your 8 favourite icons

Thats not all, when you click anywhere in the bottom quarter of the screen you get a pop up featuring:

Messages
Text Messages (SMS/MMS)
BBM
Browser

You can leave any 1, 2, or 3 of those popups on your screen for as long as you want, but as soon as you are done with them simply hit Escape and they dissappear again leaving your homescreen clear and uncluttered.

And there is still more. You'd rather use your keyboard than touch your screen? No problem:

Hit the spacebar and Messages opens up
Hit 0 (Zero) and the Calculator opens
Hit $ (the key with the Speaker icon in it) and Profiles opens up

You are probably thinking but what about viewing my upcoming appointments right from my homescreen? No problem that is taken care of as well. Simply rotate your phone left or right and you will be shown your next 9 upcoming appointments

So all together that is 20 applications and 9 appointments that can be viewed and selected right from your completely clear and uncluttered homescreen :)

Theme Description: This is the first theme I have designed exclusively for the new 5.0 software and I put a lot of work into it I hope you like it. Here are some of the highlights:

Custom Battery and signal meters, as you can see in the screenshots they are both made up of 10 blue ovals. Each oval represents 10% of Signal reception or Battery power remaining. When your Battery or Signal gets low the meters will turn yellow and then red. Also when your Blackberry is plugged in your Battery meter will turn green.
For the layout of the homescreen, as you can see, there is a today area which will show your 2 new messages and 4 upcoming appointments, across the bottom there is a fixed icon at each side (Profiles and Lock) and 5 user selectable icons in the middle.
But in addition to those 9 visible icons there is also another 5 hidden application icons:
Across the very top of your homescreen the battery meter is selectable to open your Options, the time is selectable to open your Clock and the signal meter is selectable to open Manage Connections.
Down the right hand side there are the remaining 2 hidden icons. They will slide out when you scroll over them, they are Blackberry Messenger (You can also access this one by scrolling right from messages) and Calculator (You can also access this by scrolling right from Calendar).
When you access the menu in any application it will slide out from the left and when you exit the menu it will slide down out of sight (5.0 Version Only).
Moving into and out of any application or between screens happens with a zooming in and out effect (5.0 Version only).
I put a lot of work into creating all of the Application icons and Folder icons (also the wallpaper, dialog boxes, highlight ribbons, and everything else in this theme), please let me know what you think about them in the comments section below.

Theme Description: As the name suggests this theme is all about displaying your wallpaper. It leaves your homescreen almost completely blank except for a small banner area at the bottom. There is also a hidden dock area, showing your first 5 apps, that will slide up when you scroll upwards and will slide back down out of sight when you scroll downwards. There is also a hidden today area that will show your 5 upcoming appoinments or 5 new messages when Calendar or Messages are highlighted. Also when the hidden dock slides up your wallpaper greys out slightly so you can better read your Appointments, Messages and Application titles.

A few notes on Sublime:

The 6 icons across the bottom of your homescreen are the first 6 icons from your main applications screen
The icon in the top left is the seventh from your app screen.
The top left is intended to be for your weather app (and because of the exact layout used it will work best with WeatherEye. If you don't use WeatherEye you can download it for free directly to your BB at the following link: http://blackberry.theweathernetwork.com/
Selecting your Battery icon will open your Options application (as shown in the screenshot below)
Selecting the time will open your Clock application (see screenshot)
Selecting your Signal meter will open Manage Connections (see screenshot)
Your top left icon (7th icon) will also be shown on your lock screen

Theme Description: For Stock Weather Today I stuck to the stock look as much as possible, but also added a few very useful enhancements:

I put a fair amount of effort into this one and tried out a few new ideas, please let me know what you think.

Features:

8 user configurable icons
The top 2 icons are shown on the lockscreen
Today area with 1 line for new messages and 3 lines for calendar appointments
The time is actually a hidden icon and when selected opens your alarm/timers
Scroll up from the time to select the battery/signal area which is actually a hidden icon for Manage Connections

Bold Theme: Weather Today 1.1

This theme is, of course, based on my original Weather Today theme. I made a few dozen changes to that theme, some of the most noticable ones are:

Made it so you can see your weather icon on the lock screen
Changed about 1/5th of the application icons
Changed the dialog boxes and menu backgrounds
Changed most of the font sizing and formatting

The icon in the top right will be whatever application you have as the first item on your main application list. I intended that you use it for your weather app, but of course you can use it for whatever application you want.
As I did in many of my other themes I used my own custom Battery and Signal meters. They are the blue bars accros the very top of the screen. The left half is Battery, right half is Signal. Each little section is 10%.

Theme Description: I threw this theme together mostly with parts from my Bold themes, so most of it has been used before, but still it is not a direct copy of any of my Bold themes (In fact I really like the way it turned out and I may just make a copy of this for my own Bold).

A note on the meters: The blue doted lines across the top are your Battery and Signal meters. Battery is the left half and Signal is the right half. Each little section on the meter bar is 10%.

I have noticed a bunch of people looking for today themes for the Bold that have three items (Calendar, Email and SMS) instead of just the usual 2 (Calendar & Messages), so I decided to make one.

It is nothing too fancy, just something I threw together, but here you go: Note: for this theme to display properly you will need to have your Bold set to have Email and SMS in seperate folders. To do that select: Messages>Menu>Options>General Options>SMS and Email Inboxes: Seperate.

For this theme I tried to keep the homescreen as bare as possible (so you can view your wallpapers best), but I also included a hidden Today popup that appears when you highlight Messages or Calendar.

The 2 smaller icons on the left and the 2 on the right are not changeable. The 4 larger ones in the middle are changable.

The blue bars down the sides of the homescreen are the battery and signal meters. Battery is left, Signal is right. Each section on the meter bars is 10%.

This theme is based off of my DL theme, but I made so many changes that about the only thing that ended up being the same is (most of) the icons.

I am quite happy with the way everything turned out, this will definitely be the theme that will be on my own Bold for the next little while.

I was going for something super wallpaper friendly as the homescreen is almost completely bare. However as you can see when you scroll over your Calendar or Messages you get your 10 upcoming appointments or 10 new messages.

The homescreen is not Today or Zen, it is both. If you are not on Messages or Calendar you just get the Zen style view, but as soon as you scroll over Messages Or Calendar you see your 6 new messages or 6 upcoming appointments.
